40 facts about me!

  1. I consider "home" to be the place where you can live without judgement and enjoy time alone and sometimes with family and friends. You normally aren't surrounded by strangers so if you don't like it when strangers talk to you, you have that peace. It's basically the place you want it to be.
  2. I do think ghosts exist, but I am religious and feel like spirits of people are ghosts. Some are good, others are evil. The Holy Spirit is also known as the Holy Ghost and He is a great ghost!
  3. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would want to go to Geelong West, Victoria, Australia because it's where my favorite vlogger lives and I would love to meet her!
  4. I don't really sing in the shower, but I do sing in the car. I just don't think about singing in the shower, but the radio is on in the car so I sing if I hear a song I know.
  5. I don't really celebrate Halloween anymore because I was starting to worry that it was satanic when I was 10 and when I was 14, I decided I was too old to trick or treat, so Halloween wasn't worth celebrating whether it was Satanic or not.
  6. I am not a sporty person, but I have done sports. I tried out baseball when I was 8 and decided I didn't like it. I tried basketball when I was 10 and part of me liked it and part of me didn't, but I did not join again because I thought it was hard to do basketball and my homework. I could probably have handled both responsibilities by the time I was 15, but by then how would I catch up with the team's skills? I do swim on the swim team during the summer.
  7. I never plug my nose when I swim. It was a necessary habit to form because I have been on the swim team.
  8. I think my life will change very drastically within 2 years. I am a senior in high school, so I will be in college, have a job, and have bills to pay. It won't even resemble my life now!
  9. I don't fear death because I don't really think about it and I know it will happen one day because it happens to everyone. I also believe I will be in Heaven, which is a great place! Until then, I will enjoy life on this Earth!
  10. I cry when I'm angry because it's usually at myself and I get really upset with myself! If I'm angry about something else or someone else, I tend to just hold it inside and it just goes away eventually.
  11. I would tell my 10 year old self that school comes before activities, as I mentioned earlier.
  12. I've never broken the law.
  13. I frequently snort when I laugh.
  14. My favorite kind of pizza would be a cheese stuffed crust pizza with Hawaiian, pepperoni, and sausage toppings.
  15. I am a big family person because being an only child has made me feel lonely and because my mom's sister and her kids are always connecting with us. (Could have said my aunt and cousin, but why not be more specific?)
  16. If I could be any age for a week, I would be 8 so I could be in my former elementary school and be with my favorite teacher.
  17. If I could brainwash someone, I'd use it on a former server at my church so he and his sister would serve and I could be with my dad more often.
  18. The only holidays I celebrate are New Year's, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I am religious and I take pride in my country.
  19. I LOVE rollercoasters! I'm a big fan of the thrills, especially in water rides!
  20. I always smile with my teeth showing for pictures.
  21. I think it's perfectly acceptable for guys to wear pink. It's just the pattern of the outfit that might make it look girly.
  22. One of my pet peeves is when people chew pens and pencils.
  23. My favorite birthday cake are chocolate cakes from DQ.
  24. My favorite kind of pie is chocolate pie
  25. My second favorite kind of pie is lemon pie
  26. I wear PJs to bed
  27. I've won three classroom spelling bees, but no school spelling bees
  28. I'd rather always be 20 minutes early than 10 minutes late. I always am anyway.
  29. I'd rather die and leave a legacy than be famous and forgotten when I die. Hopefully I could encourage the world to be a better place.
  30. I'd rather only wear shirts two sizes too big than one size too small.
  31. I am an only child.
  32. I've never had a real imaginary friend, but I've imagined real people I knew being around when they weren't.
  33. If the world was going to end next week and I could do anything legal or illegal, I would start driving by myself (I have a permit, but no liscense).
  34. I would wear my shirt inside out for a month for $100.
  35. I have two middle names
  36. Victoria is the first one
  37. Ann is the second
  38. I want to be an elementary school teacher when I grow up
  39. I prefer country life over big city life because it IS my life!
  40. If I had three wishes, I'd wish for no child to die of hunger, no child to die of cancer, and no child to be abused.

DON'T EAT TIDE PODS!!!!

It's March 27, 2018, and it's been 2 years since Easter 2016, and 2 years since Mother Angelica died, as explained in the video.
99% of you will know better than to eat tide pods. This originated from a movie and has gone viral.
I feel offended to be a teen in this generation. Why do I want to be involved in people who are stupid enough to eat poision??? Anyone who eats tide pods is a special kind of stupid.
A tide pod bursts when wet, so it bursts right into your mouth and you will drool it out. Not to mention all the chemicals in it. DO NOT EAT THEM! If you do, you need to go straight to the ER, and most teens don't even do that after eating!

Kindness in life, awareness of cancer

Cancer is a terrible, terrible disease that impacts many people. Nearly one in 285 kids are diagnosed with it before turning 20 in the US. Around the world, around 250 kids die per day of cancer. Cancer affects kids in many ways and kids need pediatric chemo, but only 3 types exist, so most kids receive adult chemo, which can lead to hearing loss, blurred vision, slurred speech, stunted growth, and many other problems. Many deaths in kids could possibly be prevented with pediatric chemo. So few pediatric chemo exists because only 4% of funding for cancer goes to childhood cancer. This could be part of why Sophia Gall's cancer is terminal.
Sophia Gall is a 16 year old who has ostersarcoma. Despite rounds and rounds of chemo, radiation, and a few rounds of proton therapy, she is dying of cancer. No child should be in her shoes and no family or friend should be in the shoes of her family and friends. This is why we need to continue to fund for childhood cancer.
Sophia has also mentioned that we need to continue to look for a cure, be positive, and not complain.

Who am I?

My name is Sarah Spindler and I live in Southern Indiana. I am a vlogger on YouTube and will make blogs about myself too. Here is my video for this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LXWd3edaO4&t=1s

I really am just a random teen. I am almost 18, I want to go to IUS and work at Dollar General for a few years, and then become an elementary school teacher.

Right now I am trying to get my liscense. I do not know when I will get it, but hopefully it will be soon! I will probably be 18 by the time I get it.

I want to become an elementary school teacher. I like working with kids and I feel like I can encourage my kids to enjoy and feel safe at school so they have a good start to their education and a better life.

More blogs to come! Hopefully I'll get better at this as time goes by. Here's a pic of me and see you later!
